Tim Ho Wan (Chatswood)

Image
Tim Ho Wan is a  Chinese   dim-sum  restaurant chain that originated in  Hong Kong . My friends and I went to the one located in Chatswood. We went there on a weekday evening and the restaurant was kind of empty. I have tried Tim Ho Wan in Taiwan before, but I would like to try if it tastes different.  We ordered the signature pork buns, they were crunchy and sweet on the outside and delicious and moist on the inside.    Follows are other dishes we ordered. Steamed egg cake was a bit too dry.  Vermicelli Roll and dumplings were fine.  Braised Chicken Feet with Abalone Sauce is always my favorite when I go to a dim-sum restaurant. I think the one in here is good. Baked Buns with BBQ Pork (3pcs) $9.5 Steamed Egg Cake $5.9  Vermicelli Roll with BBQ Pork $7.9 Pork Dumplings with Prawns $7.9  Prawn Dumplings $7.9  Braised Chicken Feet with Abalone Sauce $6.9 Website:  http://www.timhowan.com.au/ Address:  75A & 76A Chatswood Interchan

Anema e core Italian restaurant

Image
Anema E core Italian Restaurant Anema E core is an Italian restaurant that makes one of the most delicious, authentic Italian wood-fired pizza. They serve 1 metre pizza! I’ve tried many wood-fired pizzas in Sydney, but I must say that this restaurant is one of the best one so far. It’s located in Meadowbank; on the left side of the train station. Before you even arrive to the restaurant, you will be amazed by the smell of goodness and deliciousness of the pizza. When I came to try their famous wood-fired pizza with a friend, we had to wait for an hour to get seated. Because the restaurant is not so big and has limited tables, you will have to make a reservation to avoid waiting.  Entrée For our entrée, we ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella cheese + Fagliere Di Formaggi (Italian cheese) with bread on the side. It was on a special deal, so we were lucky to have it at the price of $18. I personally love cheese, but for those who aren’t a big cheese eater might not enjoy a

Noodle City

Image
Noodle City is a small family owned Chinese Restaurant located on the Pacific Highway in Gordon. They offer traditional dishes and the wait staff are very friendly and welcoming in the restaurant. It is a restaurant my family and I have been going to since I was a young child. It is a family friendly, affordable and fairly priced with yummy food. Noodle City Outside Noodle City Inside Chilli Salt and Pepper Chicken Overall I found the food was very delicious. I started off with dim sims and spring rolls for entree which costed $7.00 each, and for main they did not have my favourite dish which is not on the menu, the crispy pork so I opted for the Chilli Salt and Pepper Chicken, it costs $17.00 and was very delicious and it is a sizeable portion which can be shared on the table.  I would recommend others to visit this restaurant and enjoy the food like myself. The original price per person was $79, but it will be about $60 per person if you go with three other friends.  All the food below (except the Yuzu sake) was included in the fee. Onsen tamago  Rib fingers  Yuzu sake  Chicken Soft Bone Scallop   Salmon & Scallop sashimi  Pork belly  Salmon Avocado Roll  Baby Octopus Short Rib with wrap lettuce  Green Tea Ice Cream Beef and pork are tasty, the variety of the Yuzu sake I ordered was good, too. Also, it took so long for our Salmon Avocado Roll to come. The fo

Highly recommend. Starter Starter: Chicken Tikka + Seekh Kebab ($12.90) When we first looked at the menu, we were not sure what to get! All of us were not familiar with the menu so we asked one of the staff to give us a recommendation. Tokyo Ramen

Image
Tokyo Ramen is a restaurant located at the Macquarie Centre, the address of which is  Herring Rd & Waterloo Rd, North Ryde NSW 2113 . Upon arrival, I was seated at the counter. This was a nice touch as it felt I was in an authentic Japanese restaurant where you could see and hear the chefs communicating orders to each other right in front of you. The experience reminded of the ramen stalls on the streets of Japan. After scanning through the menu, the waitress recommended me a rice dish.  This is a picture of a Japanese dish called Yasai Cha-Han which is Vegetable fried rice. It costs $10 and inside, contains different types of vegetables such as capsicum, spring onions and cabbages. When served as itself, the taste can be a bit weak which is why I added chili powder to make it have a stronger taste. I would rate the overall food and service 8/10. Whilst the service was great and welcoming, I felt that the food was too oily and was too plain. It would have needed a side dish
