Members of Group 4 
Our blog is based on reviewing restaurants in Sydney. We have 5 people in our group.

Our leader is Tom O’Reilly, who is in his second year of university, studying Bachelor of Commerce/Marketing. He likes to study during his free time at Macquarie library.

Chiachen Yu (Anna) is an exchange student from Taiwan, studying Bachelor of Liberal of Arts in Japan. Her hobby is eating and looking for a new restaurant..

Hyun Nam (Hannah) is in her fourth year, studying Bachelor of Primary education with the Bachelor of Arts. She likes listening to music, watching movies and trying different cuisines.

Arlee is a student, studying B.arts of Early childhood education. She is currently working at a childcare centre and likes to watch movies and hunt for new restaurants during the weekends.


Darren Lam is studying Marketing and international business. Currently working as a waiter in a restaurant. He likes eating and trying different restaurants.

On 14 of October, walked through the crowed place in Sydney and found a place for a new typical Chinese food. The YANG GUO FU MA LA TANG, noodles with spicy soup and bunch of typical Chinese ingredients, e.g. meatball from different kind of animals or “veggie meatball” made by flour, vegetable like Bok Choi or Cabbage, the food known by every Chinese. But the quintessence is the soup, the spicy soup. You just have to pick your food and the staff will weight for you to pay, then they will cook it for you at once. When they call your number then choose your sauces, e.g. sesame, garlic, chili. Pepper oil, sugar and vinegar.   Nowadays, it is quite famous for some Chinese picking this for their “daily fun meal”. Anema e core Italian restaurant

Anema E core Italian Restaurant Anema E core is an Italian restaurant that makes one of the most delicious, authentic Italian wood-fired pizza. They serve 1 metre pizza! I’ve tried many wood-fired pizzas in Sydney, but I must say that this restaurant is one of the best one so far. It’s located in Meadowbank; on the left side of the train station. Before you even arrive to the restaurant, you will be amazed by the smell of goodness and deliciousness of the pizza. When I came to try their famous wood-fired pizza with a friend, we had to wait for an hour to get seated. Because the restaurant is not so big and has limited tables, you will have to make a reservation to avoid waiting.  Entrée For our entrée, we ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella cheese + Fagliere Di Formaggi (Italian cheese) with bread on the side. Tiny Sweetie

Tiny Sweetie is a Hong Kong style dessert shop. My friend and I visited it in a Saturday afternoon, it was full of people. We were asked by a staff to move to another table after we just sat down. The restaurant is a bit small so you might struggle to get a seat if you're with a larger group. It seems like most of the costumers tend to go for the takeaway option. The menu mostly consists of dessert soups, and they are at very reasonably price (around $5). Unfortunately, the watermelon sago my friend tried wasn't quite like she had expected, it was more or a coconut milk mixed with sago, and the watermelon did not taste really good. But the red bean ice was really good! The red bean paste was well mixed with the milk. For the rice balls, it would be better if the peanuts were baked more.
