Chester White Cured Diner

Chester White Cured Diner is an Australian diner restaurant that selling Cured meats, plus seafood and pasta, prepped in a snug space with counter stools and a retro vibe.


Chester White Cured Diner is one of cosy and small charcuterie bar which located in the middle of Kings cross, near by the Kings cross station. I went to this place at dinner session, around 6 pm on Thursday, there had lots of waiting cue due to the restaurant does not take any reservation which they take the walk in customer only.

The average price of the entrée or starter menu is around  $14- $20 and main dish price is around  $20-$23. They have a menu call "our meats" which comes in a plate with all of different types of starter such as two meats, pickle veggies, grapes on the vine, cheese, olives and bread.
I had this menu with first glass of wine, it was good to share with two people and starter.

After I had this menu, I ordered the menu call "Gambas Chorizo La Plancha" which is prawns cooked with Spanish chorizittos, parsley, truss tomatoes and lemon with a bread. This menu is very well along with red wine.

For my main dish, I had "Truffle Cacio E Pepe" which is a spaghetti, salt and pepper, parsley, black truffles. And the pasta serving inside of big truffled cheese wheel, which is the waitress are mixed Sardinian truffled cheese on the spaghetti in front of the customer and serve on the customer's dish. This performance very interact the customer.

Thus Chester White Cured Diner serving a lot of different types of beverages, such as, Sparkling wine, White wine, White-Biodynamic wine, Red wine,  Red-Biodynamic wine, Rose, Champagne and tap beers. The beverage price is start from $14 per glass and $65 per bottle. 
On the time I visited, I had two glasses of Tinto Fino red wine and a glass of Trumer pils tap peer, Tinto Fino had lots of fruity smells and Trumer pils beer taste like lager flavour.

I am highly recommend to you to visit because this restaurant is very good to make the great memory with people, and I also very enjoyed the moment during eat and drinking!
