Mughal Palace Indian Restaurant

Mughal Palace Indian Restaurant

Are you craving for a good curry but not sure where to go?  Then Mughal Palace is the place for you! It’s an Indian restaurant with great, delicious food and even great service! You will instantly love the atmosphere, once you enter in to that door. Lovely people will greet you with a great smile and lead you to your seats. It’s located in Epping, 63 Beecroft Rd; very close from the train station. How convenient! I tried out Mughal Palace with a group of friends, because we wanted to try something different.  All of us wanted to try the real, authentic Indian curry. I fell in love with the food! Highly recommend.

Starter
Starter: Chicken Tikka + Seekh Kebab ($12.90)
When we first looked at the menu, we were not sure what to get! All of us were not familiar with the menu so we asked one of the staff to give us a recommendation. She kindly offered us to get the Chicken Tikka with Seekh kebab, which is their most popular starter dish. The yogurt sauce with a bit of mint is a great combination with the meat. Once you take a first bite, the meat just melts in your mouth and it’s gone. I rate this dish 4 out of 5.

Main dishes: Curry
Curry: Butter chicken + Dal Makhani + Rogan Josh ($17.90 each)

When we ordered 3 different signature curry dishes, we were worried that we won’t be able to finish it. The portion was so big! But, trust me. It’s so delicious, so you will be able to finish it. All three curries have its own flavour and texture, which makes these dishes so special. I like to eat my curry with the Nan bread, but many people usually eat it with rice. My favourite dish out of the three curries would be the Butter chicken.  If you are vegetarian, I highly recommend you try the Dal Makhani curry. Price was reasonably high, but you won’t regret it. It’s worth the price. Overall, I rate these dishes, 4 out of 5.
